Today's Democratic primary turnout broke previous records for South Carolina. Not only that, but in this deeply conservative red state, more people voted in the Democratic primary than in the Republican one: over 60,000 more. Barack Obama in fact received more votes than John McCain and Mike Huckabee -- first and second place, respectively, in the GOP primary -- combined. Not bad.
