Bush Helps Libby...For the Children?

President Bush decided to commute Scooter Libby's sentence. Andrew Sullivan admits to being "surprised by Bush's chutzpah. I retained some minimal respect. No longer." Josh Marshall thinks it shows the power of Cheney over Bush. The National Review types, of course, are quite pleased. I don't quite know what to think, but it's disappointing to say the least.

Obviously it was that article I wrote that finally convinced Bush to act.
